Fellow Marketers,
I want to talk to you about using physical items, and physical goods, and the effects that they can have with your online business.
Now while this article is geared toward Online Entrepreneurs, the same principles will work for offline marketing models as well.
Using physical goods to create a perceived value of an offer really caught my attention one day while I was reading some of my “Junk Mail”.
A popular car dealer in my area sent me a piece of direct mail, announcing some contest that they were running to win a free … Dodge Caliber I believe, … you know the typical offer’s that I’m sure you get just like every other person in the free world.
But this offer stood out … It was different than all the other offers I was used to receiving, because this specific piece of direct mail created a sense of actual perceived value, BEYOND WORDS, and BEYOND PICTURES … And Right Then I Discovered Action Object Marketing(TM) Continue reading ‘Action Object Marketing(TM) Tip #1′

Today I wanted to talk to you about branding your name, and how using the power of social networking mega site Myspace can help.
There are a lot of internet marketers out there who have yet to begin to create their brand by using their name. Getting your name out there on the internet is much more important then a lot of internet marketers believe.
Let’s say that I am in interested in learning more about how using adsense can revive the life out of that old website that is collecting digital dust on my server. I go to my trusty search engine and pull up a search on adsense ebooks.
Now, my search engine pulls up thousands if not millions of results, but there are two listings that really catch my eye. One of which is your site.
So after reading your sales page everything sounds really good, But being the cautious buyer that I am, as many people are, I decide to go back to my search engine and do a search on your name, to see just exactly how well established you are in your market.
Funny thing is I cannot find any information about an internet marketer with your name, let alone an expert on Adsense. So I check out the other site that that caught my attention, and wind up googling that authors name as well, and I find several websites from that author and learn about all his success with Adwords and I wind up buying his Ebook and not yours!
Now had you branded your name properly, you would have had my sale.
So now that you understand the importance of branding your name, lets talk about what Myspace has to do with that.
I have a very popular name, unlike most internet marketers I know.
If you Google Michael D Price, Google will return about 91 Million results, So I have had my work cut out for me obtaining a number one position.
If You do a search for Michael D Price under Yahoo, you will get about 58 Million Results.
And you will notice that the number one position is actually my Myspace Profile.
Its amazing, Without generating thousands of myspace friends, or posting comment after comment my Myspace Profile outranked 57 Million other websites! and It only took one thing …
I made my custom Myspace url the keyword that I wanted ranked … Michael D Price
So stop losing sales today and start branding your name across the internet, and start simply by creating a Myspace profile and using your name as your custom url

Today I wanted to touch base on using proper etiquette when posting in online marketing forums.
You see a while back while doing a little reading on an extremely popular internet marketing forum, and while i was reading i noticed a topic about a good friend of mine in the online marketing community and decided to read it.
Now this was a good respectable topic for the forum, but about 5 or 6 posts into it it started to turn ugly. Some people in the forum decided to start bashing my friend about a comment he made about his up and coming workshop that he is hosting.
Normally I try not to spend too much time reading gossip in internet marketing forums, especially when a post becomes over 3 pages long, but i just had to see how far this was going to go .. It got pretty bad.
As I was reading i actually started to get sick to my stomach. The people in this forum usually take their marketing career very seriously, but had no idea that they were actually committing career suicide.
This forum actually has some of the biggest names in internet marketing popping by. I know that Google tech’s and even the president of Aweber are members of this forum.
So just think every post you make on a forum will be viewed by thousands of other online marketers, and you will be judged by the contents of your posts. If your posts portray a very unprofessional image that is going to affect your business.
People remember the names of people they do not like.
The next time you contact someone attempting to establish a business partnership like a joint venture, and they are not interested, it may very well be the result of a post that you made in your favorite forum.
So when posting in forums, stick to these 4 guide lines and you will become a respected member.
